The Warner Bros. prequel attained $30 million, transferral the domestic gross to $190.3 million, in line with studio estimates on Sunday. Disney's animated journey, "Frozen," took the No. 2 position, earning $28.9 million over the weekend and $248.4 million domestically when six weeks at the multiplex.
"'Frozen' most likely had the simplest unleash date of the year as a result of they positioned themselves to fully dominate the family film marketplace over the vacations," same box-office analyst Paul Dergarabedian of Rentrak.
